SPECIFICATIONS FOR UL DOORS

1.0 GENERAL

Doors shall be furnished by CORRIM Company in strict accordance with the procedures approved by Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc. Installation shall be by the general contractor in strict accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and instructions.

FRP face sheets shall be made from glass reinforced engineered resins.

3.0 INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION

3.2 STILES & RAILS

Stiles and rails are fabricated from pultruded fire retardant materials.

3.3 SEALS

Intumescent seals are factory applied around the perimeter of the fire doors.

ALL FIRE DOORS SHALL HAVE A UL FIRE DOOR LABEL ATTACHED TO THE HINGE EDGE OF THE DOOR APPROXIMATELY 60" FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR.
THIS LABEL MUST NOT BE REMOVED.

ALL FIRE DOORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE INSTALLED IN A UL LABELED STEEL DOOR FRAME. FRAMES ARE GELCOATED TO MATCH DOORS.
