SPECIAL NOTES
- The installer may elect to use a silicone sealant to fill
miter seam.
- The factory may, by request, preassemble the frame unit.
This requires that the installer still seals the miters in the field.
- A 6" x 1-5/8" composite stop frame is available.
Consult factory for specifications, installations, etc.
INSTALLATION
Though fiberglass material is extremely strong and forgiving, it will conform to the
characteristics of the opening. If the surfaces to which the frame is attached are not
square and free of torque, the installer will have difficulty in achieving a square and
plumb installation.
LABELED FRAMES
Fiberglass frame systems are non-fire rated. Class I (E 84) is available. |
